They/Them/Theirs
I specialize in working with college students as well as LGBTQIA+ individuals (13 and up), including the transgender/gender diverse community. This includes a range of queer identities (non-binary, genderqueer, ace, demi, pan, intersex, etc.). I also welcome people from all walks of life, including those who do not identify as LGBTQ+ (heterosexual and cisgender people); again, the college student population in general is a focus of mine. I also love geeks and gamers. I primarily work from Compassion Focused (CFT), Existential, Client-Centered approach, but I tailor my approach for each person.
I enjoy working with clients who may be exploring their identity and how to grow into their best self. I also work with a range of concerns such as depression, grief, bipolar disorder, anxiety, adjustment to changes, entering and succeeding in college, and spiritual/religious issues. Hence I have a passion for the teen and young adult years.
Previously, I worked in university counseling centers, which strongly emphasize diversity. I've worked with clients from a range of backgrounds, including people who are diverse in terms of race, ethnicity, nationality, age, faith/no-faith, ability, gender, and sexuality. Wherever you find yourself, I'd love to walk with you!

She/Her/Hers
My role as a counselor is reflective in nature rather than directive, and I believe that my clients have the best insight on what they’d like to work on in our sessions together. Some of my areas of interest include LGBTQ+ identity exploration, body image concerns, and inner-critic work. I enjoy supporting partners and families of trans folks—if you need a place to ask questions and receive non-judgmental support while your loved one explores their identity, I see you, and I am here for you. I also frequently work with adults who have been raised by emotionally immature parents in healing their self-image and establishing safe boundaries.
I hold a certificate in Gender Affirming Clinical Practice from Antioch New England, and I have a deep passion for social justice advocacy, intersectional feminism, and practicing from a fat-positive, Health at Every Size lens.
I frequently utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my work, and I also draw upon coping skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I’d describe my approach as compassion-focused, strengths-based, and focused on the social context that is unique to every client.
I graduated from Antioch New England with a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and when I’m not working, you can find me creating costumes (historical and cosplay), taking my puppy out for walks in the woods, getting deeply invested in sci-fi and fantasy stories, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

My approach to therapy is person-centered, grounded in the belief that everyone can face life’s challenges with courage when provided with individualized tools and support. Adopting an anti-oppression and strengths-based perspective, I strive to create a space where clients can explore their thoughts, experiences, and emotions without shame or judgment. I work with clients ages 15+ and am passionate about supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community, especially transgender and non-binary individuals.
My focuses include mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, anxiety spectrum disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. I am particularly drawn to helping clients navigate existential topics like identity/self-worth, fears of death or loss, feelings of emptiness, and experiences of loneliness.
I’m originally from Michigan and earned my Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Northwestern University. Outside of work, my personal passions include baking, spending time with my cat, and engaging in craft or art projects.

I believe therapy is a collaborative journey; one where we work together to better understand your unique story, identify your strengths, and discover new ways to move through life’s challenges. My approach is warm, curious, and non-judgmental, and I strive to create a space where you can feel safe exploring whatever’s on your mind or heart, at your own pace.
I enjoy working with clients ages 13 and up, particularly young adults and adults within the LGBTQIA+ community who are navigating identity exploration, life transitions, and mood disorders such as anxiety and depression. I’m especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent folks as they move through the complexities of their lived experiences; whether that’s figuring out who you are, how you want to show up in the world, or how to move forward during times of change.
My clinical work is informed by Attachment Theory and Existential perspectives. I also incorporate mindfulness practices and somatic techniques to support clients in connecting more deeply with themselves. I believe our stories matter, and that healing often begins when we’re met with compassion and curiosity.
I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University Seattle. Outside the therapy room, you’ll usually find me reading books of all kinds, making art in the woods, spending time with my cats, or exploring the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
