Associate Clinician Required Qualifications:
Masters degree from an accredited program in counseling, psychology, mental health, or a related field
Ability to use or willingness to learn and use evidence based practices
LMHCA license to practice in Washington State
Physically located in Washington State or able to move to Washington State
Able to work via telehealth
Competence using relevant technology and programs (e.g., Simple Practice, Word, Excel, Google Docs, etc.)
Able to meet supervisor in Bellingham, WA for orientation
Clean background check
No history of ethical or legal indiscretions or related disciplinary actions
Formal experience and current knowledge in working with LGBTQIA+ clients, particularly transgender/non-binary clients
Ability to engage in case conceptualization, diagnosis, and treatment planning at a developmentally appropriate level
Must carry/maintain occurrence professional liability insurance
Ability to work collaboratively with others
Openness to feedback in supervision
Willingness and ability to submit de-identified writing samples
Authorization to work in the U.S. in a long-term/permanent position
Fully Licensed Clinician Required Qualifications:
The same general qualifications apply except that the clinician must be fully licensed, the clinician is not expected to attend supervision, and the clinician should have a well-developed theoretical orientation and case conceptualization skills.
The ideal candidate will be willing and able to supervise an associate level clinician.
Other requirements:
Able to work independently while being open to feedback
Strong crisis-management skills
Able to commit to this employment as a primary work-related priority (avoiding conflicts of interest; we also encourage work-life balance)
Timeliness in record keeping and communications (within practice and with prospective clients)
Willingness and ability to credential with the insurances we work with
