Associate Clinician Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree from an accredited program in counseling, psychology, mental health, or a related field

  • Ability to use or willingness to learn and use evidence based practices

  • LMHCA license to practice in Washington State

  • Physically located in Washington State or able to move to Washington State

  • Able to work via telehealth

  • Competence using relevant technology and programs (e.g., Simple Practice, Word, Excel, Google Docs, etc.)

  • Able to meet supervisor in Bellingham, WA for orientation

  • Clean background check

  • No history of ethical or legal indiscretions or related disciplinary actions

  • Formal experience and current knowledge in working with LGBTQIA+ clients, particularly transgender/non-binary clients

  • Ability to engage in case conceptualization, diagnosis, and treatment planning at a developmentally appropriate level

  • Must carry/maintain occurrence professional liability insurance

  • Ability to work collaboratively with others

  • Openness to feedback in supervision

  • Willingness and ability to submit de-identified writing samples

  • Authorization to work in the U.S. in a long-term/permanent position

Fully Licensed Clinician Required Qualifications:

  • The same general qualifications apply except that the clinician must be fully licensed, the clinician is not expected to attend supervision, and the clinician should have a well-developed theoretical orientation and case conceptualization skills.

  • The ideal candidate will be willing and able to supervise an associate level clinician.

  • Other requirements:

    • Able to work independently while being open to feedback

    • Strong crisis-management skills

    • Able to commit to this employment as a primary work-related priority (avoiding conflicts of interest; we also encourage work-life balance)

    • Timeliness in record keeping and communications (within practice and with prospective clients)

    • Willingness and ability to credential with the insurances we work with
